How is it made?

Covishield vaccine

It is made up of weakened version of a chimpanzee’s common cold viruses called adenovirus- ChAdox1. It has been modified to enable it to carry the corona virus spike protein into the cells of humans.


Covaxin vaccine

They contain inactivated corona viruses, which cannot infect a person but still can teach the immune system to prepare a defense mechanism against the active virus.


Sputnik V vaccine

It is 2 vector vaccines. This means that the vaccine uses two different kind of adenovirus vectors, rAs26 for first dose and rAds for second dose human common cold.
